Bridging Loan Payments

We offer bridging finance loans of all types and lending can be structured in one of two ways, depending on your situation.

Interest only

Payments cover the interest portion of the loan for a period of between 1 and 12 months, with the final principal and interest payment payable at the end of the term.

Compounding interest

We can add the interest cost to the loan each month. All interest and the principal become due at the end of the term.

Can I repay my loan early?

Yes, you can repay your bridging loan early.
 
If you wish to do so, please contact us to get a settlement figure. You will need to know the date on which the account is to be settled so we can calculate interest only up until the day you settle.
 
Note there may be charges involved in the early settlement, such as a fee for discharging a caveat or mortgage. Consult your disclosure statement for detailed information about any charges. A copy of the settlement figure will also show you these charges.

Do I need security for a Bridging Loan?

Usually, yes you do.

The most common scenario for approved bridging finance is where you have unconditional offer with deferred settlement, but you need the money now. In these cases where the figures are agreed, we can provide finance based on the sale proceeds, less any money owed to the mortgage holder.
